Description of Duties:
Drayton, Drayton & Lamar, Inc. is a Federal Government contractor involved in a wide variety of projects with several federal agencies. We seek an experienced individual who will join a lead a number of project teams that provide extensive Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services (Software Development) to Federal Government clients in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. This person will work with the various aspects of project with extensive direct involvement and communications/reporting to these Federal clients. Organizational skills and good communications skills are very important. The project involves a thorough understand of the provisions of IEEE and SEI CMMI as they relate to compliance and quality reviews.
Required Background:
· A related bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years experience working in as a Project Manager or Senior Task Lead (Software Development) is required or 5-7 years experience working with IV&V projects performed under the mandates of IEEE and SEI CMMI or CMM.
· Supervisory/Management (Project Level) experience is required
Required Skills:
· IV&V experience is required
· Excellent organizational and analytical skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
· Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
