Description of Duties:
Drayton, Drayton & Lamar, Inc., a Tech Services government contractor, seeks a Quality Control Analyst/Metrics Analyst who will be part of a team responsible for the execution of quality programs within the company and with project-level contracts. This individual will assist senior and mid-level Quality Control personnel in maintaining detail quality control files and records in accordance with established standards. This candidate will also be involved with Process & Product Quality Audits along with other Quality Control activities. The candidate will collect, analyze, report and evaluate progress data as well as maintain detail quality control files and records in accordance with established standards. Candidate will analyze the metrics and produce data analysis results. These metrics will be communicated graphically to convey a clear and easily understood message. Candidate is required to have an insight into an issue that typically requires statistical analysis of metrics gathered over time. Candidate must have the ability to detect a difference, limit or trend, between planned and actual and recognize a problem or an improvement. Candidate will also assist contract project staff with contractual and corporate QC standards to include some training of personnel. Administrative requirements include maintaining online files and records in accordance with corporate standards, establishing meeting agendas, working with administrative support personnel to capture meeting minutes and action items, and then distributing them for review and comment.
Required Background:
- 3 years professional experience associated with information technology projects
- 2 years direct experience in quality testing, measurement and analysis, documentation, or administration
- Experience with CMM/CMMI, QA/QC, Project Audits, and/or Quality Control Documentation is a plus
- CMMI V1.2 training required
