Although much has been made in recent years of e-commerce and various collaborative business opportunities, the bread and butter of e-commerce is still electronic data interchange (EDI). Drayton, Drayton & Lamar, Inc got its start as a company specializing in EDI, and we continue to maintain our core knowledge in EDI.
Our specialty is the Sterling Commerce product suites, which include Gentran and Gentran Integration Suite (GIS). They operate on both the Windows and Unix platforms.
Many of our major projects interface major back-office integration packages, such as SAP and PeopleSoft.

Previous Projects
We recently helped with a multinational rollout of a new GIS implementation in Europe. We created and tested more than 100 new maps using both EDIFACT (Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce, and Transport) and TRADACOMS (Trading Data Communications).
We also provided transition support for customers during a period of high employee turnover. We provided immediate server support and helped the customers interview permanent replacements.
