Drayton, Drayton, Drayton & Lamar, Inc., a Tech Services government contractor, seeks a Database Programmer who is proficient with PL/SQL and T-SQL. This individual will provide expertise and guidance in the development, design, implementation and maintenance of database management systems in Windows Server as well as Linux environments. Additionally, they will monitor and provide database tuning and capacity planning. This position requires an understanding of, and ability to implement required security measures and strong abilities in writing stored procedures, ad-hoc reporting and migration scripts . Experience with MySQL, Sybase, ColdFusion, J2EE, Perl or other scripting languages would be a strong plus.

Writes, edits, proofreads, and copyedits a variety of documents. Plans and prepares documents for dissemination. Ensures that all documents meet established content and style standards. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks as assigned. May direct and lead the work of others. Reports to the Division Vice President, Program Director, or Project Manager depending on the project assigned. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

The candidate will also provide support, coordination for ongoing systems support, problem diagnosis and resolutions. Experience with Oracle Portal/WebCenter and/or J2EE technologies would be a strong plus.
